Upgrade - to improve something and make it more modern, especially in order to provide a better service

The hotel has recently been refurbished and upgraded.


Embed - to fix something firmly into a substance or solid object

An operation to remove glass that was embedded in his leg.


Phenomenal - very great or impressive 

The company has seen phenomenal growth.


Penchant - a liking for, an enjoyment of, or a habit of doing something, especially something that other people might not like 

Her penchant for disappearing for days at a time worries her family.
